Over the remainder of February we have a few transits that I would like to focus on. Let’s start 
with Venus square to Mars on February 19th. Venus in the fixed sign of Aquarius is cool distant, independent and a bit of a rebel. Mars is in Taurus, (Taurus is one of the signs Venus rules so this is a plus, it is called reception) Mars in Taurus can be motivated, reliable but stubborn and if challenged can be pushy. They are 90 degrees from each other, a square aspect, this will create tension and stress around partnerships and relationships, especially the love relationships. This square aspect may test something you and your partner need to work on or have been avoiding.
For those of us not in love relationships right now or those who are doing well in their relationships, money is also a topic when talking about Venus in Taurus. Watch that category carefully we have a chance to work through a money issue if it arises.
MERCURY STATIONARY DIRECT NO LONGER RETROGRADE
Saturday February 20 is the day Mercury will station to move direct at 11 degrees of Aquarius. A day or two on either side of today we may feel we are getting nowhere, stuck even. Don’t push it, whatever “IT” is for you. It can feel like driving your car with the brakes on, we can move like this, but it is not an optimal situation.
Sometimes we feel stuck and in this modern world we think we have to always be moving ahead and getting something done. Well when Mercury is stationary, we can stop too.
However we also have the Waxing Moon in Gemini and she is connecting with all the Aquarius planets today by an easy aspect and that means we may be able plan, problem solve, come up with new innovative ideas, prep and get ready for next week. Just remember if you are feeling some strong resistance to something don’t do it, wait till next week when Mercury starts to move forward again.
MARS PLUTO TRINE
The trine aspect between Mars and Pluto on February 24th feels quite motivating and energizing around a project you may have going or to transform and change something that already exists.
February 25th Venus leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces. In this sign she is in her exaltation. That means she loves it here; she can do her magic easily in the sign of Pisces. She feels sensitive, psychic, romantic. It is Spiritual love and Soul mates; it is about merging with others.
However it may be hard to see clearly or see the truth about your new lover or a situation while she is moving through this sign with the Sun and Neptune in Pisces as well.
I think this may feel like a relief to some, we have had some hard transits so far this year, and with a few planets now in Pisces we may feel like we are getting a break from the harsh realities of the world.
Over the coming few weeks we may dream more, get lost, not focus as much as we usually do, feel a bit foggy and that is what Pisces can be all about. We may even have to stick our head in the sand for a little while, unplug to get a break. It is a kind of respite for a little while.
FULL MOON in VIRGO
The upcoming Full Moon is in Virgo on February 27 at 3:17 AM EST – 12:17 AM PT it will remind us to put the boundaries back up, not let everyone in or end up an emotional puddle on the floor.
This Full Moon at 8 degrees of Virgo has a lot to say. To begin with Virgo is an Earth sign so we have some grounding in the chart, which is good. We have the ability to focus even with all the emotional water in this chart.
Full Moon in Virgo is perfection, sorting through all the details, being present in the moment and totally engaged. When the Moon is full, she is as bright as she can be and that means she is reflecting to us everything we are. This is the height of the lunar month everything is engaged. We work well with others and over the next few days we can achieve many things during this Full Moon Lunar Phase.
Moon Phase Families or Lunar Gestation Period
Now I have been talking about this extensively on my membership platform Patreon. That is the Moon Phase Families or Lunar Gestation Period. It starts with the New Moon each month and that begins a long 3-year process. In a nutshell it goes like this.
We had a New Moon August 30, 2019 at 7 degrees of Virgo, at that time we would have been setting goals and intentions rooted in Virgo qualities. Which include but are not limited to, our daily routines, our health and wellness, our focus of the present moment, paying attention to the details, perfectionism and the releasing of criticism. During each New Moon as we set our intentions, we are not sure what will grow and thrive. We will however become aware of that nine months later. This is called the gestation period of the New Moon.
The First Quarter Moon was on May 29, 2020 at 9 degrees of Virgo. The First Quarter Moon is when the Moon and the Sun are in a waxing square aspect. This is where we can really take some action, we can see what has sprouted or taken root from the New Moon intentions we set 9 months ago in August 2019.
Now we are 9 more months into the future and that brings us to this current Full Moon on February 27 at 8 Virgo. We can see very clearly what is working and what is not, and we should continue to nurture and actively engage in the things that working and are important to us. They are based on those goals we set 18 months ago back in August 2019.
In regard to the things that have lost their appeal or are not performing as you had hoped, now is the time to let them go so you have more time and attention for the things that are growing and thriving.
The details of course will depend on what you are working on and what is important to you. 9 months from the Full Moon we will have the 3rd quarter Moon at the same Virgo location and then we will harvest and reap what we have sown preparing for the next Lunar phase.
I know you are thinking wow 3 years! I thought the lunar phase was a month. It is. But we also have many other cycles happening at the same time. *If you did not set any goals with the New Moon you can still look back to these dates mentioned here. Check your journal and see simply what was going on in your life back then. Bring that subject into the now and you will see what your Full Moon focus is now.
