FEBRUARY 2021 and THE AGE OF AQUARIUS

NHAstrologer   February 2, 2021 Dorothy Morgan Dorothy Morgan

February is an interesting month in many ways. It is like we are entering our own little Age of Aquarius phase. Can you feel it? Can you? It might feel like this…..

Maybe you are sensing something is changing in you and you don’t know what it is? You know there is change coming but you can’t put your finger on it just yet.

Are you ready to break free from some of the restrictions you have imposed on yourself?

How about that rebel within, are you ready to let that person out? How about the groups you belong to, are they changing or have you outgrown them? Maybe it is time to start a new group of your own.

With 5 planets hanging out in Aquarius for the next few weeks and soon to be New Moon in that sign, we are all getting a strong dose what it is like to be one. It might feel weird to some of us who have no Aquarius planets to all of a sudden be thinking and feeling differently. Being pushed to do new things by the voice in our heads.

The good news is we can create like never before from this place. Full of ideas and ideals, stepping away from what is normal and coloring outside the lines.

Aquarius is analytical, unconventional, idealistic, unpredictable, rebellious, stubborn.

Aquarius is very analytical and also unconventional, idealistic and unpredictable, rebellious and stubborn. Aquarius can be intellectual and logical, and also incredibly insightful especially if they learn to trust their intuition.

Even if you don’t have any planets in Aquarius, we all have 30 degrees of Aquarius in our charts somewhere. That area of your chart is now highlighted and will be a focus for a long time to come. If you don’t have your chart yet and would like a copy, please email me your birth information and I will get it to you and tell you where your Aquarius resides in your chart. nhastrologer@gmail.com

The whole month of February and the first half of March the Astrology is dominate with the element of Air, there is a little bit of Earth and Water. With the exception of the Moon a few times a month we have no planets in Fire signs till Venus enters Aries in March. This means with the abundance of Air = Aquarius we could very well become fixated on a thought, process or idea. So much so we might not find the motivation to do anything but plan, plan, plan. No Fire in a chart means it takes a lot to motivate us into action. If you find yourself longing for the changes you feel you need than plan around the Moon. Act when the Moon is in the fire signs and in her waxing phase those dates are February 14, 15, 16, 24, 25 and half of the 26th. Those will be action days this month.

Venus in Aquarius

Let’s look at few specific transits for the coming few weeks. Venus entered Aquarius on February 1 and will remain in this sign till February 25. When Venus is in this sign our romantic focus may be unusual for us and unconventional. Venus is also in charge of money and we are already seeing how that can be manipulated by looking at, for example the stock market and how recently a few people on Reddit raise the price of the stock for GameStop. Electronically manipulating the value of something. Things like Bitcoin and other forms of electronic monies will most likely be highlighted over the coming weeks.

Then there is also the quirkiness of Venus in Aquarius which may show up in the purchases we make buying something that is quite different than what is normal for you. Clothing, a piece of art, electronics etc.

While in Aquarius Venus will join up with Saturn on Friday night – Saturday morning February 5/6. Venus and Saturn together in Aquarius represent a more somber feel then what the uniqueness of Aquarius would like. This is a transit and will only last a few days so if you need to be serious about something in this time frame, this will do it.

Venus Square Uranus

However on the same day just at the other end of it, Venus in Aquarius will square off with Uranus in Taurus at 10:30 PM EST. They are currently in each other’s signs so that means there is some symbiotic activity happening. The square between these two can create electricity in the air between you and your partner. If something in your relationship has gone stale this transit will shake things up.

We might even, for some unknown reason, feel like picking a fight. If this happens it usually means the two of you need to get something out in the open and neither of you have been willing to address it thus far. That’s just one example and it will not be the case for everyone.

On the evening of February 9 at 8:20 PM the Moon enters Aquarius and we now have six planets in the sign of Aquarius. On February 10th and 11th the Moon will make its conjunction to all of the other Aquarius planets. The Moon will conjunct Saturn, square Uranus, conjunct Venus, conjunct Jupiter, conjunct Mercury, all while she is in the final lunar phase of this monthly cycle.

Time for letting go

What this means is from Tuesday night the 9th until the Moon is New on February 11th at 2:06 PM EST the balsamic Moon in Aquarius will stir up things that we should be letting go of. I recommend you re-read the first few sentences of this report for those important key words and focus for the final Lunar phase. I also recommend you spend some time releasing, becoming aware of the bad habits or ways of thinking you want to release. I know it takes practice to change our mindset but now is the time to do it. Mediation helps with this. When we release those old narratives we than have room for new and more energizing thoughts and ideas to enter. Times are so powerful right now for you to make the changes you have been wanting.

New Moon in Aquarius

The New Moon in Aquarius is February 11 at 2:06 PM EST at 23 degrees. Over the coming 48 hours or so open up your journals, write down your hopes and dreams, set goals and welcome in new ideas. Make this very personal and use some of the qualities I have already described about Aquarius in your writings or drawings. Leave room for the unique and unknown as Aquarius is not always a rule follower.

The energy coming up to the Valentine’s Day we have Venus, Mercury and Jupiter piling up between the 11th and the 14th. Valentine’s Day – relationships a lot of unique open and honest conversations will be had.

Let’s finish up this report with February 17th, today is the first square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus. They will square off two more times this year June 14th and December 24th. What does it mean when Saturn squares Uranus? It means we need structure and change; and we need to be careful not to destroy everything for the sake of change.

We’re trying to create a new world from an old foundation that may or may not be stable. Of course we can see that in our government, but I want you to look at it from a personal perspective.

Are you continuing to do the same old thing but you’re expecting different results? Do your work, make some space, when you’re inspired go for it wholeheartedly. If you feel you’re stuck and continuing to loop around find somebody who can help you get out of that looping phase. I can do that with your Astrology if you like. This will help you to release the things that are no longer supposed to be part of your future and it creates that space for the uniqueness, creative inventiveness of Aquarius to enter.

Astrology for Mid-January including Full Moon in Leo

NHAstrologer   January 15, 2021 Dorothy Morgan Dorothy Morgan

Time for another astrology update.

Let’s get started with the Sun entering Aquarius on January 19 at 3:40 PM EST. As of this writing we already have three planets in the sign of Aquarius and now the Sun joins in. The Sun in Aquarius may inspire many things and some of the harsher areas have been activated already. Rebellion and especially political revolutions. People fighting for change. The rise and fall of governments, organizations and groups.

It is also free thinking, engaging in innovative activities to inspire change and promote humanitarian causes. With all the planets currently in this sign and there is more to come we should be prepared to embrace the changes that are coming, of course some people will choose to fight the changes. We always have freedom of choice.

The details of what this looks like will be similar but also a bit different for each of us because we all have a different outlook on life.

Are you open for some things to change in your life?

Are you open for some things to change in your life? If so, take a step toward what you want to change, take a risk on yourself. If you are fearful of change and know something needs to shift and you do nothing, the pressure of that will be clear to you. You will feel uncomfortable, stressed out and not happy with much of anything, stuck. If you do sense these things than that it is a sure sign you are not doing something you want to do deep down inside.

At some point if the soul genuinely wants a change it will happen. I recommend you examine that area of life you know needs a shift and do something, even the smallest of activity toward your change or goal will help, otherwise you will feel even more restricted and it will be our own doing.

We also have some heavy hitting transits over the next 10 days and well as the Full Moon in Leo.

On January 20 inauguration day of course, we have one of the most Volatile aspects and we can have on any day. This is the conjunction of Mars and Uranus in the sign of Taurus. We’ve already seen what it looks like back on January 6th when Mars was at an extreme degree and began what will be a stressful January.

Now that Mars is with Uranus, we may very well see more riots and violence. I hope not but that is what these transits tend to represent. On this day at the time of the Inauguration the Moon will be at the 29th degree of Aries which is where Mars was on January 6 when we had the violence irrupt in the nation’s capital.

The Moon will enter the sign of Taurus just before the exact connection between Mars and Uranus 3:38 PM EST. With the Moon now in Taurus on January 20th it will then square off with the planets in Aquarius just as Mars is about to do. In the afternoon and evening the Moon will square the Sun then Saturn creating more stress and tension.

Moon conjunct Uranus, Mars, square Jupiter

January 21st the Moon will conjunct Uranus and Mars as well as square Jupiter all before dawn. This can go many different ways. Impulsive behavior, more stress and riots in the streets or we could step back take a well-deserved break from the world at large and look at our own lives. If you know me and my writing you know I am not big on pushing things that promote fear. However today I had to speak the facts of these transits and you have read them now.

I also want us to be aware that we don’t have to engage in these energies. You can use these transits as motivation in areas of your life that you have felt stuck, like I mentioned in the beginning of this article. If you are having a hard time seeing how you can use these transits to your benefit than please book session and we will figure it out together.

Mars square to Jupiter

Moving on, the next aspect I want to cover is Mars square to Jupiter on January 23rd EST. *The square aspect is present to get our attention, it represents stress of some kind, so we know where to look and then make the shift that needs to occur.

When Mars and Jupiter are connected, we can feel goal oriented and motivated, but also overly impulsive, so watch your step.

On January 28 we have Venus conjunct Pluto as well as the Full Moon in Leo. The Venus Pluto conjunction in Capricorn feels grounded and solid. Venus in Capricorn is practical and logical no frills at the moment. With Pluto she deepens her commitments, whatever they may be. This feels like a little bit of normalcy in a chaotic month.

Full Moon in Leo January 28

Full Moon at 2:16 PM EST is at 9 degrees of Leo. The Sun also at 9 degrees but in Aquarius and we have Mars at 10 degrees of Taurus, Uranus is at 6 degrees. What does all of this mean? We have what is know as a Fixed “T” square. This Full Moon in Leo connects closely with Mars and Uranus dredging up whatever went on last week.

With the overload of fixed signs we need to let go, release, break free from restrictions and old rules, whether they are self-imposed or otherwise.

The lighter side of this Full Moon is Leo wants to play and have fun, engage in activities that you are passionate about and where you can use your creativity. I have more to cover about this Full Moon and the Lunar Family it belongs to which I do in my membership platform Patreon. Please join me there at level 2 as we go deeper into the mean of this Full Moon.

Mercury Retrograde January 30

We finish this month with Mercury in Aquarius readying to retrograde and that happens on January 30 at 10:52 AM EST. The day of, before and after is when Mercury is stationary. On these days we may be feeling stuck, not able to change our minds or allow for freer thinking. Give yourself and others some time and space to adjust to the change in direction of Mercury. Doing this will prevent all the stereo-typical scenarios from playing out so strongly. Mercury in Aquarius loves to think outside the box, create, make new laws, engage in higher thought, navigate new terrain, explore and learn. I am creating a video about this Mercury retrograde over the weekend and will post it the week of January 18th. My media page and You-Tube holds all my videos here are the links.

YOU-TUBE, MEDIA PAGE.

This year Mercury will retrograde in all of the air signs and it starts now. We are being asked to step up in regard to what we think and believe. Break from outdated processes. Shift how we gather and share information. How we are now using technology will change and possibly A big surge in artificial intelligence.

The Air signs and especially Aquarius wants us out of our comfort zones as we create a new world over the coming years.

Thank you once again for reading and follow my work. May all be blessed and well. Dorothy
