On Monday April 26 11:32 PM ET we have the Full Moon at 7 degrees of Scorpio. When the Moon is in this sign there is maximum awareness around how we are feeling, what we are passionate about and the things in your life you know are changing and transforming. Now stop right there and re-read that sentence, then ask yourself what is changing? Where do I feel this deep longing or need? If we don’t take the time to slow down and examine our life once in a while change will seem like it is happening to us. I am encouraging you to use the power of this Full Moon to take that deeper dive into you, into your wants and needs.
Scorpio is a fixed water sign and that means, throughout the day and night our feelings will run deep. If we are not aware of this many of us will be overly emotional and not know why. The same is true for those around us so knowing this, we can hold space for those who may be overreacting during this Full Moon. On every level this Moon is asking us to look beneath the surface even more so than what is usual for you.
Look to the house placement of 7 degrees of Scorpio in your natal chart to get even more insight into the personal meaning of this Full Moon for you.
Being Fully Engaged
When the Moon is Full we should also be fully engaged in working deeply with our partners. (Partners are anyone with whom you are close to and have a personal connection to). Close friend, life partner, spouse, business partner, etc.
The Full Moon chart has no planets in Fire signs and that tells me this Full Moon is not about taking action but understanding what is being revealed. It doesn’t mean we can’t take action if we see something needs our attention, it means we do not need to begin new undertakings. It is time for completion, we need to finish up what we already have going on in our lives.
To figure out what the specifics are for you, do as recommend, take some quite time and see what is bubbling to the surface. A Scorpio Full Moon can sneak up on us when we are not fully engaged in our own transformation and inner work.
More Dates to Look At
We can also look to two other dates that are part of this Full Moon Family for a theme. The New Moon on October 27, 2019 was the beginning of this Lunar Family Cycle. Look back to that time frame to see what was begun that is important to you still, (it does not have to be this exact date, but it should be within a few days).
Nine months later the first quarter Moon was also at a similar degree as the New Moon and the current Full Moon. This date is July 27, 2020. In July there should be a similar theme that has your attention from the New Moon date and the current Full Moon.
The first quarter Moon is when we are beginning to get things done, we can see what is moving forward and what is not. Just like when we have a garden, some plants are doing well and some are not. We pull the planets that are not doing well so we can focus on what is starting to thrive. Now we are back to the Full Moon on April 26th. Our awareness around the current theme in our lives is very real. Tie up loose ends, begin the finishing touches on your projects and then look for where the transformation is happening.
Trust Your Intuition
Trust your intuition and feelings, know if something is changing it is supposed to. Of course there is always more to tell but I will leave here.
Thank you, as always, for your support. Much love, Dorothy
