Let’s talk about the week of July 6th to the 12th.
Monday July 6th Tuesday July 7th and half of Wednesday the 8th the Moon is in the sign of Aquarius, while the Moon moves through that area of the Zodiac we are inspired to connect with our higher selves and with groups that matter to us. We will also be interested in analyzing what’s going on around us and within us. This is an opportunity, if you like, to detach emotionally just a little bit so you can gain an overall view of what is happening around you from an analytical perspective. I know this is not for everybody but if that resonates with you that’s one way that you can use Monday Tuesday and half of Wednesday.
Since the eclipse, the morning of July 5th we are now in a waning lunar phase this lasts till the next New Moon which is on July 20th. In this waning lunar phase it is time that you sift and sort and look through and decipher what is not working so you’re able to let it go. For example if you are growing a garden, this is the time of year to analyze how well it is doing. Some of the plants aren’t doing so well so to give more space and attention to the plants/things that are thriving it is time to thin out your garden. We should be doing this in our lives as well. We have this opportunity every month.
One of the other interesting things about this whole week in my eyes is all of the planets, with the exception of Mars and Uranus, are either retrograde or moving slowly because of their place in space. (Those details would be an astronomy lesson which I’m not going to give you). This means it’s a week to take your time and to go slow. If things don’t feel like they’re accelerating fast enough this is why and don’t push it. The planets always reflect to us what is happening here on the planet and even deep within us. That is why sometimes Astrology seems so predictive.
It’s not that we should put the brakes on, that is not true, but we do need to go slow and take our time no matter what this fast-paced world believes it requires of us. It really is an important time, this whole week, to reflect on the things that are important to you but not necessarily act. It has been a long 2020 so far and we are only halfway through. I recommend we take the breaks were the energy is recommending we do.
Let’s move into a few more details of the week, the last half of Wednesday July 8th through the early hours of Saturday the 10th the Moon is in sensitive, emotional, intuitive Pisces. This is one more reason to take your time this week. Keep your boundaries clear, stay away from the people you know drain you, unfollow the people on your social media that are just too difficult to deal with right now, do lots of clearing and meditation, and if you are able spend more time near water, playing music as well as doing the things that lift your heart.
Early Saturday morning July 11th into Monday July 13th we have a significant shift due to the Moon entering in the sign of Aries and throughout the weekend the Moon will interact with Mars, Chiron, Sun, Jupiter and Pluto. These interaction from the Moon to the other planets can produce a response in many different ways. Aries is an action oriented sign that is motivated and quick to act, but with most of the plants (not Mars in Aries) moving slowly we are likely to let something that has been simmering within come to the surface now.
I can see it a lot in the news and on social media with people having strong reactions to what is going on around them. There is a lot of fear based stresses coming the surface for many people and rightfully so, I am not judging I am just making my observation. This can feel very edgy and overly emotional for those who have not been taking care of themselves like I’ve already described in the paragraphs before this one. If you are able to keep your cool you may want to use these transits and planetary movements to engage your courage, ambition, drive and excitement where you have previously held back.
Sunday July 12 Mercury is stationary moving direct 4:26 AM ET. That means throughout the whole week Mercury has been slowing down to a stop to head forward once again. The energy Mercury in Cancer represents has been showing up everywhere all we have to do is watch one minute of the news and see how fired up everyone is.
Mercury in Cancer will also represent our childhood and issues we gathered then. We have an opportunity to speak up and clear old wounds through the spoken word or through writing gently and with loving kindness (Cancer) or directly through confrontation (Aries), it is always your choice.
Please be kind and easy with yourselves during these turbulent times. If you would like personal guidance please reach out, that is what I am here for.
